Description
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Steel Detailer with Tekla experience to join a leading engineering company in Ireland. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional looking to relocate and contribute to a range of steel construction projects across Ireland and the UK.
The Role As a Steel Detailer, you will produce detailed drawings and 3D models for secondary and miscellaneous steel structures using Tekla and AutoCAD. You will work closely with engineers, project managers, and fabrication teams to ensure designs are accurate, practical, and delivered on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed Tekla and AutoCAD drawings and models.
- Coordinate with project teams to meet project requirements and deadlines.
- Ensure drawings comply with relevant standards and specifications.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and technical records.
- Support fabrication and construction teams with design information and material
specifications.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Steel Detailer or CAD Technician.
- At least 2 years' experience using Tekla Structures.
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of steel detailing, AutoCAD, and BIM workflows.
- Excellent attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to relocate to Ireland.
