About the Role
We are currently recruiting experienced Solar Electricians to relocate to Ireland and join a growing renewable energy sector. This is an excellent opportunity to work on commercial and utility-scale solar projects while developing your career in one of Europe's fastest-growing industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation of solar PV systems on commercial and industrial sites
- Installation and connection of inverters, isolators, distribution boards, and cabling
- Testing, commissioning, and fault-finding of electrical systems
- Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics
- Ensuring all work is completed to high safety and quality standards
- Working closely with site supervisors and project teams
Requirements
Essential
- Qualified Electrician
- Minimum 3 years' electrical experience
- Experience with solar PV installations or renewable energy projects
- Ability to read electrical drawings and technical plans
- Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills
- Good spoken and written English
- Full driving licence preferred
Desirable
- Previous experience on commercial or utility-scale solar farms
- Experience with inverters and electrical testing equipment
- Electrical certifications and qualifications
- Experience working internationally
